There has been so much discussion over the current status and direction of the current COVID-19 Pandemic. Just going to the store has created a new routine either to purchase on-line, curbside delivery, or obtain a mask to shop in person. Don’t event think about the next school year – at every level from pre-K to Graduate studies it will be different than at first anticipated and will most likely change each month.
We have seen the same thing with travel. I have delayed in writing a blog to get the latest information to you. I have come to realize that it changes daily with the wind. The only thing certain is our prayers.
This is what I know – and it may have changed by the time you read this blog!
- Bethlehem was scheduled to open mid July and the new date is now Aug 31,2020.

- Travel guidelines have changed to include wearing masks on the planes. I included a link to Lufthansa’s travel and Corona changes. As well as American Airlines. This will give you a good idea of what is changing for airline industry. These are two airlines we use frequently but not exclusively.
- In flight food service has a new picnic style box lunch look and feel.
- Tour coaches will request masks and hand sanitizer. We have always requested attention to personal hygiene including moderate use of cologne and perfume due to the close quarters of the tour coaches.
- Hotel meals will be seated service and no longer buffet.
- Currently Israel requires international travelers to self isolate for 14 days.
I will include some links to additional sites so you may keep up to date on the changes and additional requirements.
In looking for updates information for travel, I came across Israel’s suggestions for home isolation strategies. It has a lot of encouraging tips for staying healthy and active during a mandatory stay at home order. These are excellent suggestions for everyone.
