Are you ready to get ready? It’s time to finalize registration for our Holy Land trip departing January 30. And it’s time to begin building community and embarking on a journey of learning and preparation that will help us get the most out of our pilgrimage.
I especially look forward to this season because it is a time when we can gather to connect with one another, to study and learn together, and to take care of travel details. Tina and I will lead a series of “classes” to help us get to know the Holy Land better, to discuss the sites that we will visit and their significance for our faith, and to experience the pilgrimage wisdom that at Faith Connections Travel we call “Travel Tips with Tina.” This series will run in McKinney, Texas, on Tuesday evenings from October 5 to November 8, beginning at 6:00 p.m. We will also have a bonus session focused on Bethlehem in December and a final pre-departure session in January.
We consistently receive compliments from our tour guides that our groups come well prepared. That means that guides can cover more ground with us than with many other groups. Building a foundation before departure is one of the best ways to maximize the pilgrimage experience!
The classes are included in the trip cost for our travelers and are also open to others for a small registration fee. We are having two in-person Q&A opportunities, on September 21 and 30.
