City of David

There are so many things to see and do in the Holy Land, how do you pick just a few to fit in the time you have? This is the age old question every traveler asks on each pilgrimage. Sometimes, the request is “Show me something really old from the Bible,” which is another exciting challenge.

We love to find new and different sites for our pilgrimages to give return pilgrims new sites to explore. One site that is still an active archeological dig is the City of David. Follow the link to a virtual tour that will take you back 2,800 years or more. See where the city of Jerusalem began, King Solomon’s anointing pool, and a home from King Hezekiah’s time. Spoiler alert, the open floor plan concept of homes is nothing new!

Follow this link to the official website with additional information information, maps, and videos.

I hope you enjoy this virtual tour with us.
