I’m not a reader of TIME Magazine, but I couldn’t help noticing from inside the travel world that Jerusalem was recently named one of their 50 most extraordinary travel destinations. This was part of an annual list called “The World’s Greatest Places.” One of the places featured as a must-see was the Tower of David Museum’s 360-degree view of the city.
For us at Faith Connections Travel, there are dozens of “must see” sites in Jerusalem, and we see many of them on our tours. It truly is an extraordinary city, and we always learn, enjoy, and experience blessing when we spend time in the Old City, in West Jerusalem, on Mount Zion, and on the Mount of Olives. The churches, archaeological sites, markets, and the sights, sounds, smells, feel, and taste of Jerusalem are unforgettable for our groups.
In order to meet the criteria for making that list of top 50 in the world, a location must be “enthralling, exciting, and offer new or advanced experiences”. Hear, hear! I know that groups who have traveled with us will agree wholeheartedly.
